With her signature fringe, Hebe sits toward the heavier end.
Water gathers between Hebe’s yarn strands and stitches, adding temporary weight. Longer fringe and fuller back coverage use more yarn, which may make that change more noticeable.
Hebe’s deep V front is framed by hand-crocheted bust panels, with adjustable halter ties that let you control the lift and where the neckline sits. Her long wrap ties circle the torso and tie into place, while the open front, side cutouts, and open back form the silhouette that makes Hebe, Hebe.
Fringe is applied by hand across the bust, lower front, hips, and back. That fringe gives Hebe her signature movement when you walk, dance, or step out of the water.
Your Hebe comes with a removable styling ring, giving you two ways to style the front. Wear her with the classic wrap, or thread the ties through the ring for the second look shown here. Add or remove the ring whenever you want to switch between the two.

Choose your size on the product page. No measurements are required. Unsure which size to choose? Text TaniJay for help. Your Hebe is made using the standard bust and torso proportions for the size you selected.
Best if one-pieces often feel too short or too long through the torso, or you want bust coverage refined to your proportions.
If you choose optional tailoring, select your size, then submit your Bust Width (One Breast), Collarbone to Navel, and Navel to Upper Bottom Crease measurements after ordering.
Your selected size remains the base. I review your measurements before production and use them to refine bust panel coverage and torso length. If anything is missing or needs clarification, I’ll contact you before making your Hebe.
The halter ties adjust lift and neckline placement. The long wrap ties let you control how closely Hebe sits through your torso.
No measuring tape? Standard Fit does not require one. If you’re unsure which size to choose or whether tailoring would help, text me before ordering.
If you wore Hebe with the removable styling ring, take it off before washing. Wipe the ring with a damp cloth when needed and dry it separately.
If Hebe is sandy, soak her in cool or room-temperature water first to help loosen the sand.
Machine wash cold on a delicate cycle, or hand wash in cold water for the gentlest care.
For extra fringe protection, use a mesh delicates bag during machine washing and drying. It helps reduce friction and tangling that can change how the fringe falls. With curly fringe, it also helps protect the hand-shaped curl pattern.
Tumble dry on low heat. If Hebe is still slightly damp, repeat the low-heat cycle instead of increasing the heat.
Gently press out the excess water and place Hebe on a clean, dry towel or flat mesh drying surface so her weight is supported. Lay the ties and fringe loosely in their natural position without pulling or stretching them.
Do not hang the wet piece from the neck strings or a single tie.
Make sure Hebe is completely dry before wearing her again or putting her away.
After checkout, your confirmation email gives you access to your private TaniJay Studio, where you can complete and follow the next steps for your Hebe.
Studio will show the fit step needed for your order. You’ll either confirm your standard size or enter the requested measurements there. If you need help, reach me through the TaniJay chat line.
Once the required details for your order are complete, I begin making your Hebe by hand. I’ll share production updates in Studio so you can follow her progress.
When your Hebe is ready for review, photos are added to Studio. You can leave adjustment notes directly on individual photos and give final approval in Studio when everything looks right.
After final approval, you can follow shipping progress in Studio. When Hebe ships, you’ll receive tracking information so you can follow her home.
Once Hebe arrives, try her on and see how she feels. If something doesn’t feel right, reach me through the TaniJay chat line and I’ll help you figure out the next step.
